Tequila blanco

Our Catrina Tequila Blanco is the perfect addition to those experimental cocktails hours or your classic margarita! Blanco’s clean and refined taste is incredibly versatile, making it the ultimate companion to mixologists and party animals a like.

As the name, Blanco, describes, our Tequila Blanco is clear in color due to it being cooked right after collection from our organic Blue Weber Agaves. Once slow-cooked to perfection, Catrina’s Tequila Blanco delivers the most impeccable sweet and herbal flavor! The softness of the taste gives our special process of insisting in stainless steel tanks for 3 months after distillation process.

Tequila Reposado

Catrina’s Tequila Reposado has the best of both worlds; use it in a variety of cocktails or sip it neat. Either way, you will melt at the taste of expertly blended spicy and sweet flavors and the aroma of oak and dried fruit.

Our Reposado is a “rested” tequila, as we age it for 12 months in American oak barrels to achieve the complexity of aged tequila while keeping the taste light enough to remain versatile. Produced from 100% Blue Weber Agave, Catrina Tequila Reposado has the perfect soft agave flavor that can do it all!

Tequila Añejo

Catrina’s Tequila Añejo delivers the true essence of vintage tequila. To let our Tequila Añejo shine, it’s usually best to drink it neat, on the rocks, or with a bit of orange and lime. Whether you’re an Añejo fan or are new to aged spirits, our authentic Mexican Tequila Añejo will quickly become a new favorite to keep on the shelf.

We age each of our Catrina Tequila Añejo bottles in American oak barrels for almost 2 years, giving it the perfect amount of robust flavor without sacrificing the taste of 100% Blue Weber Agave. One sip of Añejo, and you will find bliss in the strong oak and agave flavors.

Tequila Harvesting & Distillation

La Brune Ed Catrina takes an exceptional amount of time, resources, and manual labor. In Mexican tradition, there are specific parameters that must be followed for a product to be categorized as authentic Mexican tequila. That’s why our process includes 7-8 years of maturation for the Blue Weber agave plants and the special touch of Mexico’s jimadors.

The jimadors harvest the heart, or piña, of the agave, which is then cooked in large masonry ovens. Once cooled, the agave hearts are ground up and the agave juices collected. Next comes the distillation process. We use premier stainless steel tanks to ferment the agave juice and create 100% agave tequila. After double distillation process, our Tequila Blanco insists in stainless steel tanks for 3 months to give softness and smooth taste while Reposado and Añejo are stored in American oak barrels to begin their aging process.
